It was kind of strange to vote on Halloween, yet after I came out of the little booth, I was so proud to get my "I Voted" sticker. I even yelled out to this candidate as I was driving away, "You got my vote!" It was really cheesy, but I felt so good that day, so patriotic! JoNathan, Samantha and I went trick or treating at our Home Teachers neighborhood. It's kind of an exclusive neighborhood with local celebrities living there. They make a big deal out of Halloween with haunted houses, smoke machines, king size candy bars and wild decorations! Samantha can't say trick or treat yet, but as I walked her up the steps she would see the candy and say "Please!" She was so dang cute!! I thought she would be scared of it all, but quite the opposite, she was mesmerized by all the decorations and the crazy people walking around and would say "HI!" to everyone we passed! JoNathan was way too cool to dress up so he put his football jersey on and grabbed a pillow case. Maurice said he went to some fun parties, but no trick or treating.....After all he's way too old! (I mean cool) ;-)
we've come a long way baby!!!!!!
